Guadalupe Bookstore: Arte, Cultura y Más

The Guadalupe operates the bookstore from inside the Guadalupe Theater, which sells unique, hard-to-find art items and wares such as posters, cups/mugs, santos/nichos, jewelry, greeting cards, music, videos, books for children and adults, and T-shirts. Most of these works are produced by Chicano/Latino artists and writers, and are of the highest quality and value. The Gift Shop, which opened in 1995, offers the finest and most authentic work that truly reflects the splendid artistic traditions and contemporary expressions of nuestra cultura. Many of these products are found exclusively in the Guadalupe's Gift Shop. The Gift Shop is an important venture for the Guadalupe because it provides us with an opportunity to be supportive of the many talented Latino artists whose work might not otherwise find distribution. It also provides the Guadalupe with valuable earned income that helps to ensure its continued development.
