    Award-winning San Antonio filmmaker Eric Fonseca shares his unique techniques on bringing animation to life. Don’t miss this special opportunity to explore an eloquent art form that dates back to the early days of cinema.

    About the instructor:

    Eric Fonseca is a San Antonio based, self-taught artist who focuses on story and character in every facet of his creative passions. From painting and drawing to design and animation, he is passionate about nurturing creativity in others.

  • Ages 16 to Adults
    Saturdays 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
    Instructor: Gabriel Luna

    This class offers students the opportunity to learn the craft of digital filmmaking. From storyboarding to the silver screen, an experienced director guides students in the development and creation of their own projects.

  • Ages 13 to Adults
    Wednesdays 6 – 8 p.m.
    Instructor: Francisco Cortes
    Fee: $150 per semester

    This class will help take the mystery out of all the little buttons and dials on your camera. Learn manual settings, light control, composition and much more. You will be on your way to creating much better images.

    About the instructor:

    Francisco Cortes was born in Oaxaca, Mexico and raised in San Antonio. He studied at the University of Texas at Austin before returning to San Antonio in 2008. With degrees in Photojournalism and Mexican-American Studies, Cortes’ work covers topics ranging from migrant worker camps to the music culture of San Antonio.
