The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center offers classes and workshops for learners of all ages in Dance, Theater Arts, Literature, Music and Visual Arts. Experienced instructors who share a passion for teaching and conserving essential components of the Latino experience manage each class.
Classes are offered in the Galería building located at 723 South Brazos, and feature several studio spaces dedicated for use by the Academy staff and students. Our students are given opportunities to participate in recitals, public performances and become part of the Guadalupe art community.

Guadalupe Academy classes have played a significant role in the presentation, appreciation and development of Latino dance, music, theater, visual arts and literary arts for San Antonio’s youth. Scholarships are provided for under-served youth who attend JT Brackenridge Elementary school, Tafolla Middle School and Lanier High School. The Guadalupe Academy is one of the prominent educational programs for traditional and contemporary Latino art forms in San Antonio.
