End of Year Fundraising Campaign
Dear Friends of the Guadalupe,
Thank you for making 2017 a great year filled with celebrations and inspiring cultural events. The Guadalupe means so much to so many who have lived important and memorable experiences within these walls and on these premises.
We will continue providing even more powerful cultural productions and memories with your help. We can create a stronger Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center with your end-of-year contribution. With your donations last year, we were able to match the Kronkosky Charitable Foundation match grant and just finished Phase I of the restoration project at the historic Progreso Pharmacy building — a vision your contribution helped make a reality.
This year, we celebrated Education Director, Belinda Menchaca’s 25th Anniversary as she was honored by the City of San Antonio with their Distinction in the Arts Award and by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce with their Making a Mark on the World Service Award. In addition, Guadalupe accordion instructor and Reina del Acordeon, Eva Ybarra received the National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellow Award. This is the nation’s highest honor bestowed upon master folk and traditional artists.
With your continued support, the Guadalupe will continue to cultivate, preserve, promote the Latino, Chicano and Native American arts and culture. Contributions can be securely made online by clicking here or the donate button above.
Thank you so much for your support.
