100 Palabras

100 Palabras
January 13 – March 19, 2011
Curator: Patty Ortiz

The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center presents an exhibition featuring the collaboration between literature and visual arts. From Hieroglyphs to the Surrealists to Graffiti, they have influenced and challenged one another through an ongoing exchange of themes and techniques. The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center is contributing to this intriguing relationship between image and word by presenting six local artists and six local writers who will each pen a one hundred word response to the artwork, to be exhibited side by side on the gallery walls.
