Dear Friends of the Guadalupe,

Save the Date – Big Give SA- Thursday, May 4th 2017

“I gave my voice to poetry…” – Juan Felipe Herrera

What will you give your voice to? Now is the moment to do something BIG- to use your voice to pass on the stories of our cultura, create art, share challenges, and build our comunidad—together.

On Thursday, May 4th 2017 the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center needs your support. Our goal is to raise $10,000 from the Big Give SA so we can continue to be a center of cultural pride, self-expression, and community empowerment through the arts.  Only with you by our side is our voice strengthened.

At the Guadalupe, we aim to inspire and empower individuals through the promotion and preservation of Latino, Chicano and Native American arts and culture. To be inspired is to want to do more for your people, to push yourself, and to make your culture proud.  ¿Nos ayudan?

Big Give Bonus:  An Evening with Juan Felipe Herrera

Join us on the night of the Big Give at Guadalupe Theater at 7:00p.m. as we welcome the first Latino and current U.S. Poet Laureate, Juan Felipe Herrera, for a special presentation in partnership with Gemini Ink and Arts San Antonio.  Event is free to the community with musical guests Conjunto Aztlan and will feature a Giving Suite for our Big Give supporters.
