Hecho a Mano

This year Hecho a Mano: 2016 will take place Friday, December 2 to Sunday, December 4 at the Galería Guadalupe (723 South Brazos). The opening night preview and member Holiday Party will be Friday December 2 from 6 to 9 pm and will include refreshments and appetizers. The opening night is open to the public ($10 entry), or free for Guadalupe members.
Hecho a Mano, a three-day shopping event guarantees the community and tourists alike a unique holiday shopping experience. With over 40 vendors, Hecho a Mano will feature an array of jewelry, fine art and other handmade items by local and regional artists that create wares that encompass both traditional and contemporary styles. Hecho a Mano is an enduring celebration of craft and community, and this year we celebrate our 30th anniversary at the historic Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center!
Discover new local craftsmen and women as well as returning artists under one roof including Tim Palomera, Michele Parlee, Nuevo Huevo, Tiny Narwhal, Jose Sotelo, Cristina Martinez and much much more!
This year we honor Kathy Vargas, founder of Hecho a Mano and original Visual Arts Director of the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center.
