Josslyn Luckett

josslynluckettShe has a BA from UC Berkeley in Ethnic Studies, an MFA from NYU in Dramatic Writing, and an MDiv from Harvard Divinity School. A recent participant in the Johannesburg Workshop in Theory and Criticism (JWTC 2014), Josslyn’s research areas include jazz studies and independent cinemas of the U.S. Third World Left and the African Diaspora. Her essays/poetry have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Ishmael Reed’s Konch Magazine, “Voices from Leimert Park Anthology” (Tsehai Press), and “What Your Mama Never Told You:  True Stories about Sex and Love” (Houghton Mifflin).
