Ricardo Castillo (Music) began playing guitar at age eleven and has studied the flamenco art form with some of this genre's most notable artists: Juan del Gastor, Antonio Moya, Manolo Franco, and Maestro Juan Serrano. He currently performs in the San Antonio and Austin area and has garnered the respect of aficionados and professionals alike. |

Anna De Luna (Theater), a native to San Antonio, has been acting for 20 years and received her training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Ms. De Luna has performed in numerous theaters, including San Pedro’s Playhouse production of Anna in the Tropics as Conchita, in which she received a San Antonio Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama. Ms. De Luna also wrote and performed her one-woman show Chicana Atheist, which premiered at the Guadalupe’s Teatro Fest 2006. She is currently work-shopping her original one-woman show, They Call Me the AIDS Lady, and is an HIV Educator for the San Antonio AIDS Foundation. |

Amanda Flores (Poetry) is a local performance poet and recent graduate of Trinity University. She is the youngest member ever to have earned a spot on the San Antonio PuroSlam Team and has represented the city of San Antonio at the National Poetry Slam competition for five consecutive years since. Her work has been published in various editions of The Trinity Review, as well as the Voices Along the River Anthology, and, in addition to performing for a plethora of community literary events and schools around the city, she can be found frequenting the stage at "On the Half Shell Oyster Bar" downtown every Tuesday night at 10:30 p.m. for San Antonio's weekly PuroSlam poetry competition. |

Annette Champion Flores (Dance), a Graduate of Texas State University's Dance Department, is the director and choreography of Soul Fusion Dance Company. She has been dancing since the age of two and has studied various styles of dance including Flamenco, Modern, Ballet, and Jazz. Her Instructors include Teresa Champion, Tracie Stanfield, Sergio Martinez, Vladmir Marek, among many others. Recently Annette auditioned for Calpulli Mexican Dance Company in New York and was asked to join. However, she passed on the offer to continue sharing her vision and passion for dance with her students and San Antonio. Soul Fusion Modern Dance Company's vision is to explore and fuse art forms, ethnic dance, and life, bringing to the stage not just dance but also a world of colors, sound, and movement! |

Robert Talamantes Garcia (Poetry) works and lives in San Antonio. He is inspired by and in touch with the ever-flowing ebb of the universal unconscious and its massive collective dream galleries. He shares his biggest connection to life with Shea his wife and their two cosmic children. He is dedicated to his family and journal writings; composes poetry, music and art; and approaches life with a humanistic hand.

SkudR Jones (Singer), also known as "Scooter," is a person motivated toward keeping busy in all areas of his life. In addition to his work and travels as a community activist, he is working on his debut release, "Can A Brutha Git Naked?", his clothing line "Tre’Mend-Us Designs" (where he hand-tailors his clothing), producing one of his original plays "6 Degrees," and being an award-winning spoken word performer and actor. Mellissa Marlowe (Theater) is a performer and director for the theatre who specializes in bringing new works to the stage and adapting classics for modern audiences. She has performed in over 40 productions in the San Antonio area, and has directed more than 20 plays. She recently began writing short plays, and has seen three of them produced in the last year. Mellissa holds a B.A. in Drama from Trinity University, and an M.A. in Theatre Arts from Texas State University. She teaches Drama at Northwest Vista College, and directs for the Witte Museum Gallery Theatre and San Antonio Shakespeare in the Park. Mellissa lives in San Antonio with her husband, David Rodriguez, and their daughter, 8-year-old Paulina Esperanza. |

Vocab (Poetry) Andrea "Vocab" Sanderson (poet, singer/songwriter) has been featured on stages with her music and poetry at various universities such as DePauw University, Moorehouse College, Cameron University, Rice University, and Trinity University to name a few. She was a member of the 2005, 2006, and 2008 San Antonio Puro Slam teams. She is the host of the 19th Annual International Women’s Day March held in San Antonio, Texas. She currently co-hosts 2nd Verse, an open mic poetry venue in San Antonio, Texas, and is a member of Soul Prodigy. Andrea also enjoys doing volunteer organizing with charities and is committed to progressive movement by organizing and facilitating showcases and conducting writing workshops in her local community. |
