Miryam Bujanda

Miryam writes about life, love, conflict, and redemption. She explores the relationship between physical spaces and memory along the US-Texas border, in Colonias, and within families. Trauma and death appear frequently but so do struggle and celebration. She has read her short stories and poems at NYC Latin American Round Table (LART), “La Hora del Cafe” in Boston, Esperanza Peace and Justice Center and Guadalupe Cultural Art Center (GCAC) in San Antonio. She is working on a coming of age memoir, “Aftermath.”
