Toni Margarita Plummer is a winner of the Miguel Mármol Prize and a Mariposa Award finalist. She grew up in South El Monte, in Los Angeles’s San Gabriel Valley, the setting for her debut story collection The Bolero of Andi Rowe. Plummer is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the Master of Professional Writing Program at the University of Southern California. She has published fiction in Thema, PALABRA, and Kweli Journal. She is also a contributor to Wise Latinas: Writers on Higher Education and All About Skin: Short Fiction by Women of Color.
